What I wouldn't give for a few days of peace, quiet, tranquility, solitude.

My car broke down yesterday and it was pretty scary for me. I guess I should be thankful that I even have a car when so many people don't have transportation.

I performed a large act of kindness yesterday and it made me feel good.

All I can say is that I will never settle for someone who doesn't see the bright light in me, and I will never accept someone who takes me for granted.

Morning, Jessica--So sorry about your bad car day. Mine is having troubles but still kicking. Cars can be such a pain at times.

Once earlier this year, as I was driving important papers to a divorce meeting, one of my front tires blew out, just after I'd exited the freeway. At the time I was scared, but also just so relieved. Thought, "If that tire had blown when I was driving 60 mph, I'd be really in bad shape."

As it was, it blew out when I was going only 15 mph and I just pulled into a quiet neighborhood and called for help. I think an angel was watching over me that day.

I'm glad you're ok. Take it easy today if possible (can you get to work without your car>?).

    Hugs, Brina

My car died right off of 610 and Zane in Brooklyn Park. I WAS blocking the right lane but a cop eventually came and pushed me into a school parking lot. My son's father eventually came and helped out. He even left work and was there in 30 minutes. He really came through for me.

Jess, So glad the cop came by and was a help to you. Not fun, but you got through it and today will go better.

    Hugs,
